 New Zealand is an island country located in the southwestern Pacific Ocean. It is situated 1500kilometers east of Australia. It was one of the last lands to be settled by humans. Its capital is Wellington and its largest city is Aukland.

CURRENCY: New Zealand dollar.

GOVERNMENT: New Zealand is a constitutional monarchy  with a parliamentary democracy, although its constitution is not codified.^[57] Queen Elizabeth II is the Queen of New Zealand and the head of state. Like Canada, they are an English colony.


SPORTS: Golf, netball, tennis and cricket which have an English origin are popular. There are also soccer and rugby that are very appreciated among young people.
